Total Dadagiri (2018)

Total Dadagiri answers the above questions but raises a lot more even after the film has finally ended. Why finally? Because it hints at ending the lacklustre climax some good 45 minutes before it actually does. It’s supposed to be a romantic comedy but why is there no romance except a few college-stalking scenes and some out-of-place songs? Why is there no real comedy except those forced clowning scenes between good actors like Rajatabha (Mimi/Jonaki’s father) and Shankar Chakraborty (Yash/Joy’s father)? Because maybe the filmmaker knows the pulse of this audience well and is allowed total dadagiri in directing the film.
